I have to say that this is one of the strangest erotic romances I have ever read. Not in a bad way mind you, but I had a difficult time relating it as a romance though it clearly is one, just a different one. Since Nandil is an android and as I mentioned above not an anatomically correct android, which might have made this story a little easier to relate to, it made it harder to see this story as your typical romance. I think more importantly much of the relationship between Nandil and Sangar is emotional, though Nandil does try to help ease Sangar sexually, it’s not the same since he does not need the same from Sangar. I enjoyed reading Victory Conditions, and it is very imaginative, and the author got the emotions of both Sangar and Nandil spot on. The world building is very creative. If you like stories that are different, and you enjoy m/m romance and science fiction, you will probably like this story.Regina
